Meloviz ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Meloviz web application and marketing website. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our sites, create an account, or use our audio-visualization and export tools.

By using Meloviz, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Account information: name, email address, authentication identifiers, sign-in method metadata, and security settings such as two-factor enrollment.

Content you provide: audio files, images, lyrics, project settings, custom presets, and exported videos we store so you can edit, download, and manage your work.

Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, feature usage needed to enforce plan limits, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.

Billing data: subscription status, plan tier, payment-related identifiers, and purchase history processed through our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on Meloviz servers.

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, host and deliver the service, analyze audio for visualizations, render and export videos, enforce quotas and entitlements, process subscriptions and credit purchases, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve performance.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use uploaded audio or images to train generalized machine-learning models unrelated to operating your account.

We may send service-related emails such as verification, password reset, billing notices, export status, and retention warnings before inactive content deletion.

We share information with service providers that help us run Meloviz under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only for our instructions. This includes cloud hosting, object storage, export compute, email delivery, analytics used for reliability, and payment processing (currently Stripe for checkout and subscriptions).

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.

We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We retain uploaded project content and completed exports while your account is in use and for a limited period after your last account activity, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

If you have an active paid subscription, we retain your stored library content while that subscription remains in effect, even if you rarely use Meloviz. After a paid subscription ends, you can download completed exports during your plan grace period; stored library content is then removed as described in our Terms & Conditions.

We may retain billing records, fraud-prevention data, security logs, and support correspondence longer where needed for accounting, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

When you delete content in the app, we delete or de-identify associated stored files within a reasonable operational period, subject to backups and logs that roll off on their normal schedules.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and segmented production infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.

You may access and update certain account information in the app. You may delete projects, media, and completed exports from the library.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Service and security emails may still be sent while you have an account.

Meloviz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date and, where changes are material, provide additional notice such as email or an in-app message.

Continued use of Meloviz after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the changes to the extent permitted by law.
